FAQ
Answers to the questions buyers ask most about standards, materials, lead time, payment and packing.
Which flange standards can you produce to?
We regularly produce to ASME/ANSI B16.5, B16.47 and B16.36, EN 1092-1, DIN 2573/2576/2632/2633, JIS B2220, BS 4504, GOST 12820/12821 and UNI 2277/2278. Just send us the standard, size, pressure rating, material and facing type for a quotation, or supply a drawing for a custom non-standard flange.
What is your minimum order quantity?
For standard sizes we normally start at one pallet or one case, typically 1 tonne or 100 pieces. Trial orders can be mixed across sizes to fill a container. Large diameter and custom flanges require dedicated material, so the minimum will be higher - please confirm with your quotation.
What is the usual lead time?
Stock sizes ship in 7-15 days. Standard products in large volumes take 20-30 days. Large diameter or custom items take 25-45 days depending on cutting and heat treatment scheduling. During peak season please place orders 2-3 weeks earlier.
What materials and inspection reports do you provide?
Carbon steel A105, A350 LF2, Q235 and 20#; stainless 304/304L, 316/316L and 321; alloy F1, F5, F9, F11, F22 and F91; duplex F51/F53/F55. Material certificates, chemical and mechanical property reports, heat treatment records and dimensional inspection reports are supplied with the goods, and third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV can be arranged.
How do you pack the goods - will they rust?
Flanges receive rust-preventive treatment first (rust oil, black paint or galvanizing as required), are wrapped in plastic film or woven bags, then packed into fumigated wooden cases or pallets secured with steel strapping. A packing list and material certificate go inside, and shipping marks are stencilled outside to your instructions. Heavy-duty packing is available for long sea voyages.
What are your payment terms and trade terms?
Our standard terms are 30% deposit with the 70% balance against copy of the bill of lading; other arrangements can be discussed for repeat customers. We work on EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR and DDP terms and accept T/T and L/C at sight.
How much are samples and how fast can they arrive?
For standard sizes we can provide one or two samples free of charge - you only cover the courier cost. Samples are usually dispatched within 3-7 days and arrive in 3-7 working days by DHL, FedEx or UPS, or on your own courier account.
This is our first cooperation - how can we be sure of the quality?
Start with a small trial order. We will provide production photos and videos throughout and first-article inspection data, and a third-party inspection agency can be arranged to inspect at our factory. Established customers can set up an annual framework agreement so we hold material and stock to shorten lead time.
